Under Construction

After all this time, I'm finally at a point where I can start putting things back together on the site. So, as soon as I get back to school on the 18th of this month, I'll be putting the site under construction. I cannot say how long it will be under construction but I guarantee there will be new and exciting things for everyone to see and play with. Help promote our home, let people know about The Witches' Community. As the community grows, new things will spring up, especially since I rely heavily on member suggestions and thus far haven't received any that are extremely helpful. Drop me a line, keep coming back from time to time, and tell me what you think about the site and the new updates as they come along!

Just A Quick Update

First let me apologize for adding a blank update last night. I was trying to update some things from my cell phone and some things just didn't work on my phone. Second, I would like to share some good news with everyone. Yesterday I was going through some of the things that had been saved when the house burned and most of my books survived! Currently there are three missing but my mother says she stuffed them in a random box. She's pretty sure those are the three that are missing. So now I can finally start doing some book reviews. These updates are coming, I promise, it's just been a difficult year. Currently, now that I'm not staying in the dorms, we're living in an old farm house 30 miles away from any town and we have no internet.

My parents did find a new house but it's a ready built, modular home and we're having some problems getting someone to come bulldoze the old house so we can bring the new house in. We were hoping to have it before the beginning of this new year but that didn't happen. As it is, unless I drive sixty miles every day and sit at Burger King I can't get on the internet to do the updates the site badly needs. So I'm asking that you have patience with me. I'm sorry I haven't been as faithful with the site as I should have been. I go back to school on the 18th and then I'll have access to internet all the time so I should be able to start doing the updates I want to do. Also, in the Wicca 101 section I'll be adding some new stuff that I've personally learned over this past year, plus some stuff out of my Wicca 101 books. I've found, however, that it's the things you learn on your own, outside of books, that mean the most. With that being said I'm going to sign off and I hope to see you soon!

Before I go I would like to add, I'm starting to work on my ezine again and am needing contributors. Please email me if you have something you wish to add to the ezine. Merry part and brightest blessings!

Long Awaited Updates

First I want to apologize for not updating the site as often as it needs to be. I have recently started school at a new University and am trying to adjust to life in the dorms. On top of that several personal problems have kept me from working on the site. Recently my grandfather had a heart attack and my parents' house burned down. I think I've gotten into the swing of things and should be able to update things each weekend or so.

I was going to start doing book reviews and such for the site but all of my books were damaged so it will take some time for me to replace my library. As it is if anyone has things they would like to contribute to the site in any way just let me know and we'll discuss it... it would really help me out if there were a few of you guys that would like to contribute.

I have been considering providing a newsletter or ezine (probably an ezine) for community members that wish to receive one. What I need to know from you guys is this: would you even be interested in having an ezine associated with this community? If so, what types of information would you find most valuable, entertaining, and so on? Also, if you are interested in having an ezine made available, would you be interested in contributing to said ezine? Recently The Witches' Community made a move from http://writeawiccan.webs.com because I got frustrated with my old webhost. I am hoping that things will go a little better in our new location. I want to thank everyone for coming and I appreciate all of your patience with the building of our community. It is destined for great things, I just feel it. Now the new editing software is a lot more complicated here than it was at the old site so I'm having to get the hang of it but once I get used to all of the controls it'll be a walk in the park. With the site moving I'm hoping to include a newsletter or something of the sort so send me your suggestions and ideas on that. I will do my best to keep the integrity of the old site wholely intact here and I hope that the updates and such are up to your standards!
